SLEEP

I'll start us off with this gorgeous piece of work.

Dystopia - YACHT This came out near the end of March, but YACHT has released a new single with a more disco-funk sound called Utopia - YACHT, in anticipation of their next album coming out June 21, Shangri-La. It was impossible to find a downloadable version online so I just bought it on iTunes and uploaded for you guys, just 'cus I know you love us. Bonus: Utopia (Jerusalem Remix) - YACHT. Love me!

Tornado (Fuck Buttons Remix) - Jónsi The original contains nice violin strings and soft piano chords alongside Jónsi's "tender" vocals, but Fuck Buttons has brought synths and quick electro riffs to the table, or in our case, bed. Check out his soundcloud here.

These Nights (ft. OhJuicy) - Sweaters Funny, girly lyrics that lend themselves to those nights when you stumble home before sunrise and slip into bed with your iPod on full blast. Yeah, I do that too. What an anthem.

Zzafrika (Julio Bashmore Remix) - ZZT No vocals. A visceral experience that makes you feel like you're lying in the middle of an electric zoo. It starts raining, but you don't mind, 'cus you feel just right.

Star Fire Power - Gardens & Villa Disco beats, bass, and synths by musicians with original pop sensibilities.

Have you seen - DJIDIOT Sent to us on our Soundcloud DROPBOX. The artist claims to be a 19-year-old Norwegian dude living in Paris. It's beautiful.

And all the way from Colombia, Nicolás Saavedra has submitted the track below to our DROPBOX as well. Check out the rest of his stuff on his Soundcloud. It's definitely talent. +++

FUCK

Click to eat.
(Trust me, you're gonna need it after this.)
Only You (Ken Loi Mix) (Kaskade’s Intro Edit) - Kaskade & Tiesto (Ft. Haley)  Kaskade's track Only You, produced for his set at Beyond Wonderland, got lots of attention-- but apparently not enough. Here's his re-edit of the introduction. While Haley's solo vocals are what even a soulless person like myself  would consider romantic, the synths are even more captivating still. Is it house or trance? For something as holy as this, I really have no option but to say: both.

Clap - Document One With a high pitched synth that is more than slightly reminiscent of an electric guitar set against a drop filthier than any dirty sanchez, this track is sure to blow you away (especially while someone else is blowing you).

Pretty Lights vs Radiohead vs Nirvana vs NIN - Pretty Lights Fresh mash-up by Pretty Lights that samples Radiohead's Everything's In Its Right Place, Nirvana's All Apologies, and NIN's Closer. A little something to cool down to. Enjoy the bassline and melody, forever and ever.

Can't Stop (Album Edit) - Martin Solveig feat. Dragonette Love the vocals. Love the energy. Love the love. I just can't stop myself. I mean c'mon, it's hot off the press and it's your favorite sex-breathing dragon, what else do you want, son?

Funkytown (Club Mix) - Stefano Prada & Purple Project This epic throwback will take you all the way downtown (where we're at) and blast you right back home before sunrise. Luckily for you, SFP™ is the new Funkytown.

Let It Go (BigMak Radio Mix)  - Dirty South You know this classic 2007 Dirty South track all too well, but BigMak Radio has brought it back. Wait, is that a little dubstep I hear mixed in there? Yes, yes it is. Blast this bitch before it's too late!

Sweet Dreams (Mick Kastenholt & Andrew Dee Remix) - Avicii Nice title, but this ain't no sleep post. Avicii takes us back to the 80s with a guiding hand that feels you up on the way, (and in all the right places). I present you with eargasms galore, whore.

Dynasty (Disco Reason Remix) - Kaskade feat. Haley Delicious vocals and the usual Kaskade serenity you know, love, and crave on a more-than-regular basis.

Big in Japan - Martin Solveig ft. Dragonette & Idoling More Dragonette?! Yeah, we're not kidding. I also have this highly feasible (and fuckable) theory that this track is about a group of guys with dicks considered small in the U.S. who travel to Japan over the summer in search of sexual redemption and end up w-o-w-i-n-g all the Harajuku Girls with their dicks, which turn out to be enormous relative to Asian penises. But that's just me.

Booty Swing (Tits & Clits Remix) - Parov Stelar Kind of reminds me of We No Speak Americano. Watch out for the ill trombone lines. Oddly enough, Tits & Clits is from Budapest, Hungary. Even more oddly enough, I, too, have tits (and a clit). Now that's what I call scary.

Still hungry?

You know you love me!

PARTY

Get ready, 'cus this one is bad-fucking-ass. (Oh wait, all my posts are ;)

XXXO (KAYTRADAMUS REMIX) - M.I.A. If you were even more than a little disappointed with her most recent album (which isn't so recent at all anymore), I assure you, this remix is more than enough to redeem all at fault for the letdown. Revampin' shit, whatup.

Stop The Rock (Gordon & Doyle Groove To The Dirt Bootleg Mix) - Apollo 440 This one's just fun. No, no, I'm serious. You could be completely alone in the middle of the desert, blasting this in your cheap little Apple headphones, and still have fun. Swear.

Strange Behaviour - Feed Me (feat. Tasha Baxter) There is much to say about this track, but first and foremost, it must be noted: it is lethally sexy. Feed Me is back with his new EP, To The Stars, and we're loving it.  It's certainly not the first time he tears it up with Tasha Baxter (ehm...Cloudburn; yeah, total banger).

White Noise/Red Meat (Beatwalker Remix) - Dada Life You think Planned Parenthood has a subdivision called "Dada Life"? Jokes aside, this is hardcore electro-house remixxed to the max. They don't fuck around.

It's We (Electro Foundation Remix) - Perfect Cell & Future Frog Mellifluous in the most robotic of senses. It's transdigital,  transgressive, translucent, and I guess a above all, a transmutation. Oh and transexuals welcome to enjoy. We think your clothes (and make-up) are fun.

More Monsters and Sprites (Preview) - Skrillex "CALL 911 NOW!" Here's the preview of Skrilly's new EP, droppin' on Beatport June 7th. You guessed it-- it's combustible.

Speeding feat. Adiyam (Dodge & Fuski Remix) - Rudimental Crazy bassline and really nice female vocals which contrast nicely with that more-than-agressive drop that slaps you in the face with its metawhorical cock. (Oh, why you gotta be so graphic, Opt!mus? It's my nature.)

Girls In Love (Extended Mix) - Funky Chicos "Let's take it back to the old school." That line is repeated (over and over again) for a good reason. You better recognize. +++

You know you love me,
O.G. Kush

SLEEP

We're mad close to 600 fans. It's my birthday week, you owe it to me. Spread the word, yo.
xx, Opt!mus

What's Going On (NiT GriT Remix) - Marvin Gaye Oh hey, it's Marvin Gaye on here yet again. You might not wanna fall asleep while you sit on the dock of the bay (unless you're into dying), but take a fucking listen. This time, you owe it to yourself. +++

Scottie Pippen (feat. Freddie Gibbs) - Curren$y You know who he is. You know what to expect. The instrumentals are vondaful. Also, Curren$y is playing at Grand Central Miami June 16th. Check it.

Mother Of Pearl - Silver Swans Woah! Silver Swans are growing on me. Just kidding; they're not. I just like this one song a lot. Also good for when you wake and bake, just 'cus it's summer, and you fuckin' can.

Thor's Hammer (feat. Raekwon & Vordul Mega) - Vast Aire Here's a little more rap. It's kinda ghetto, but then the little voice repeating "sunshine" in the background makes you think... "hey, thats kinda cute." You decide.

Over (Radio Edit)  - GusGus This sounds kind of oldschool electronica (kinda). Especially the vocals. You can dance to it, you can fall asleep to it; it doesn't matter. Just know this: it'll move you--inside & out.

BAI on iTunes

Chyeaaaah.

This track deserves its very own post. It's hard. Not only that, but the artist (formerly known as Thick As Thieves) is from my own city, Miami, and so is his epic sound. But we think no matter where you live, it can make your night. En-fucking-joy.

Oh... just a "small" P.S. :  this banger will be available sometime soon this Tuesday on iTunes (yeah, we're serious). Check him out on his website (http://www.itgetsyouoff.com/bai.php) and his SOUNDCLOUD.

FUCK

So SFP™ had a nice little photoshoot this Memorial Day weekend amidst the rumpus of Electric Daisy Carnival 2011, and I'm happy to say the results were fan-fuckin'-tastic--as usual. Below in the fur coat and crystals is the beautiful Sophia A. of Miami Beach, one of what we would call our most "SleepFuckParty™-esque" followers to date. We have more photoshoots and bass coming your way, so get ready ;)
photography by Opt!mus Gr!me. see more here and here

All I Ask Of You (12th Planet Remix) - Skrillex All I ask of you... its to fucking blow my brains out with your wobbles. This is my version of a sweet, romantic track. Sure it's aggressive in more ways than one, but the vocals will change your mind.

Sweat (David Guetta & Afrojack Dub Mix) - David Guetta & Snoop Dogg Okay, okay, okay... what the fuck? I know of very few cases in which such a big fucking track has been released in such a sneaky manner. No previews or talk (real insidious shit). With an epic melody to accompany Snoop's aurally iconic vocals, Guetta and Afrojack's trademark quirks and kicks come into play eargasmically. Cheers to another club banger without Pitbull's raunchy "man"-vocals.

World On Fire - Flinch Not gonna lie, if I would've listened to this track eyes wide shut, I would've sworn it was by Skrillex, the Destroyer. The beginning is made up of typical Skrilly vocals and frills, but by the time the implosion hits, Flinch proves he deserves a name of his own. It's funny that I said that actually 'cus... just see for yo'self.

Signs (Bloc Party Bootleg) - Danalog Bloc Party is fantastical. In March of 2009, the Armand Van Helden remix to their original chime-filled track "Signs" was released, and it was glorious. Recently, Danalog released this very different one, and I'm more than happy with it.

FUCK BILL (Sound Remedy Remix) - Tyler, the Creator So, to enjoy this track would be more of an acquired taste, but if you like Odd Future, blood, murder, and bass, here's your poison. It kind of reminds me of something that would be playing in a scene where the super-dude's rushing to detonate a bomb before everyone gets fucked as hard as Bill O'Reilly. So apropos.

Trick Pony (Boys Noize Remix) - Charlotte Gainsbourg Nice little track to cool you off now. We posted Matthew Dear's remix of Gainsbourg's Time of the Assassin's in a sleep post before, but here we hear a sexier side of her. Expect more to come from her. You're welcome. +++

And here's a new track by Kevin Castro from my one and only city, Miami. Keep an eye out for him!
Can You See (Original Mix) by Kevin Castro

And in the interest of promoting Skrillex as the apotheosis of rage, his show on July 16th @Grand Central Miami, and his set at Electric Zoo in NYC on September 3rd, here's a little clip to get you riled-the-fuck-up.

PARTY

Live4themusic checkin' in after a few weeks. I haven't posted in a while and it feels right to be back. Disclaimer: sorry if you need a change of shorts after these massive eargasms, and sorry if the file becomes unavailable. These artists are going to psycho measures to make sure their music isn't uploaded, but we feed it to you anyway! En-fucking-joy, bitches.

(Also, for this post please click on the Artist name to get the track.)

Save the World (Style of Eye & Carli Remix) - Swedish House Mafia Epic win. As if the original weren't glorious enough, Style and Carli just had to step in and revamp the shit out of it.

Pressure (Calvin West Extended Remix) - Nadia Ali, Starkillers & Alex Kenji Soothing female vocals set against a not so soothing stream of lively-ass beats. And woah, is that Starkillers!? Yup. You're welcome.

Heaven (Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike Remix) - Promise Land feat. Cozi Oh, hey. It's trance. You know thats the kind of thing to expect from me. I won't boil your blood, but I will ensure you have all the tools to do it big.

Thing Called Love (Above & Beyond 2011 Club Mix) - Above & Beyond feat. Richard Bedford No, this isn't that now-seemingly-vintage track from The Darkness you used to play on repeat when you were a kid. But wait, I'm kind of down to listen to that too.

SLEEP

This post will start you off with a few tracks to doze off to as you lay in bed with that special someone you love (or met a few hours ago), and then send you on your way with a more up-beat temphoe as you drive home after that awkward breakfast you should never have to relive.

The Suburbs (Arcade Fire Cover) - Mr. Little Jeans Mr. Little Jeans is actually a Ms, and the story of how she got her pseudonym is the best part. If you're a Wes Anderson freak like myself, you know the Indian guy who does all his movies took on the character of Mr. Little Jeans in Rushmore. She claims he "makes [her] smile every time." Me too. This track is probably one of the most beautiful sounds I've heard all week. And who the fuck doesn't like Arcade fire? You know you love us.

No Diggity (Chet Faker Cover) - Blackstreet Cover of that mid-90s classic from a Melbourne based electro artist. It's much better than in the original. Musical innovation and what can only be described as boldness at its finest. Hear for yourself.

Lammicken - Braids Probably one of my favorite tracks. It's literally ethereal. Literally. Like it uses diethyl ether as a solvent, withers away your worldly concerns, and lulls you into the preternatural realm of sleep, and DMT, and lullified, sexxified love. Oh and it kind of sounds like a Fever Ray - Animal Collective hybrid; just sayin'.

The Whip (The Rapture Remix) - Locksley You know The Rapture. You love the rapture. You think you're cool 'cus you listen to The Rapture. Well here's your poison. Their multi-instrumentalist man, Gabriel Andruzzi, spun post-rock elements into the original, matching synths and claps to Lockley's rad rock n' roll vocals.

Get People - Away No, this isn't the misanthrope's anthem, though it can be if you're trying to get away from the chaos. Plug in your Bose headphones, tilt your head back, and get lost in this tropical indie blend.

First Snow (Ooah Remix) - Emancipator If you saw Emancipator at Coachella, you know it's for laid-back stoners with high spirits. Or not. Either way this is a great track for blazing. At least I think so (in my not-so-humble opinion ;).

Into Black - Blouse Check this up-and-coming Portland-based dream pop trio that just got signed by the Brooklyn label, Captured Tracks. Oh and check the unofficial video below, created by a troupe of Portland videographers who skillfully sampled scenes from the 1991 film Les Amands du Point-Neuf. Bonus: includes fireworks, strobe lights, and Juliette Binoche.
