SLEEP

What Monday blues? We got our purple haze!

Last Name London - Theophilus London This is so fucking good. I mean, shit, I really love this dude. And yeah, I am pissed as fuck that his LVRS hat sold out. Almost bought it last month.

Block After Block (Douster Remix) - Matt and Kim The original track by the indie-famous Matt and Kim from Brooklyn is so 2010, but the remix, brand-fuckin'-new! We love Douster, the house/rap/tropical producer all the way from Lyon, France who has been making ill beats for the past 9 years, since he was 14, yo. (Oh and he's signed with Diplo's label, Mad Decent, duh.) And check out the new video below!

Que Veux-Tu (Kap10Kurt Remix) - Yelle You already know and love this Yelle track. But you definitely don't have this remix. Oh and Kap10Kurt? He's from a little Swiss village, but lives in NYC now. Sound out his name aloud, it's fun.

Lump Sum Of Paris (The Hood Internet Mashup) - Bon Iver vs Friendly Fires & Aeroplane So next level. It has all the mellifluous guitar harmonies and male vocals of Bon Iver you dig, plus the mashupy synthesis of Hood Internet, who combine the best and make it better. +++

Hungry Hearts (Skeet Skeet Refix) (feat. Lil B) - DWNTWN Oh SHIT it's Lil B aka TheBasedGod. I think he's dope for releasing that album this year called I'm Gay to show his support for the LGBT community, even though he's totally straight. And get this, he got multiple death threats for it. You probably already know this? I don't know. Man, we got readers from all over the world. This track is what I call melancholic rap. Totally dig it. Plus wait for the delicious female vocals that will turn you on and then smoothly lull you to sleep like no other. Don't drive to this.

Silly Fathers (RAC Remix) - Rubblebucket Rubblebucket is a band comprised of 8 people from Brooklyn. It's not as much as Edward Sharpe (10...), but that's still pretty huge. And so is their sound. And fuck yes it's RAC again, for the win.

I Love That You Know (Colo Remix) - Disclosure Dreamy shit. I'm just tryna' jerk you off. Is that colo with you?

O.G Kush!
Oh, and I'd like to welcome Bacci Sanchez to SFP. Yeah fuck yeah. #expansion

SLEEP

FUCK YOU
if you skip the sleep posts. I do not think you can fathom the immensity of the sandpaper dildo I will shove up your ass if you don't start checking them this instant you fuckin' fuck. Everyone sleeps, vegetates, and gets hella' high. And you know you damn well need epic melodies and glorious tunes to complete all of those difficult activities. Yeah, you're welcome, sonnnn.
And now, da tunage!

Semblance of Sound - DJ BAHLER I sorta dig DJ Bahler. He reminds me of growing up. Of the time before I was a full-flex "music snob" as they're calling us. Funny thing is, I listen to shit by broke and struggling artists that may never make it big. Ever. So explain again how that is "snobby," at all? Kinda the opposite, I think. So tell that to the haters listening to Nicki Minaj on vinyl. Suck a dick, Urban Outfitters. (Bonus: this track features Fuse by Hudson Mowhawke. If you wanna be a real "snob," get into experimental hip hop-- now.)

Breathe Me (Butch Clancy Remix) - Sia Delicious. From Detroit, Michigan, this dubstep/elecro/experimental-focused Butch Clancy character never fails. And if you think he does, it's you that's failing. Win to this.

Moonlight Sonata (Sound Remedy Remix) - Beethoven I live for remixes of classical music. But since they're to die for, I guess I "die" for them? Anyway, Sound Remedy pulled off some serious Wolfgang Gartner shit. Hats off.

Why Even Try (RAC Remix) - Theophilus London True or False: When you see the word "Remix," 5 out of 10 times it has the letters "RAC" sitting right before it. True, and you love it. Another track by Theophilus London, my favorite. Vocals by him and some chick, plus nice piano instrumentals and sweet chimes.

Everything To Me - LIPS Songs LIPS is from New Zealand. And she's Brooklyn-based. And she has a delicious voice. And and she does everything by herself. Seriously, she's a one-chick show. Props? Props.

The Broken Places (Extended Version) - Moby I decided you only deserve to listen to this if you made it to the end. And you did. Moby means true emotion. He's all about authentic harmonies that transcend the limits of technical manipulation because his gift (and it is a gift) seemingly effortlessly allows for the creation of aural aesthetics (as if by electro-divine providence) that need not be called "eargasmic," because words will just never suffice. Hot damn, I sure can bullshit.

SLEEP

by Annie Leibovitz

Melancholy Hill (HyGrade Remix) - Gorillaz Chillstep fo yo sleeping pleasure.

The Scientist (Coldplay Remix) - Mike Posner Posner does a great job remixing the classic version on this song and even gave it a little bit of a dubstep twisttt.

Dreams Money Can Buy - Drake Drake's newest solo track. He's too good of an artist, it's incredible.

Sleeping Lessons (RAC Remix) - The Shins The original is a great jam, but this remix by RAC takes its laidback style and intensifies it x1000009238r890169.

40 Day Dream (Turbotito Remix) - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros Best Edward Sharpe remix I've heard in a while. This one's a must have! +++

PARTY

Louder (Doctor P & Flux Pavilion Remix) - DJ Fresh Newest track by DJ Fresh. It's available to buy on June 3rd, but who the waits to buy shit when it comes out? Filthy ass drop and lovely vocals. You heard it, sonnn.

Pop On Acid - Afrojack Dirty-ass electro that ultra-sexxxifies Pacha on the Sunrise. It gets really nasty toward the end, and don't even pretend you didn't ask for it.

Rockafeller Skank (Original Mix) - Fatboy Slim & Koen Groeneveld If you're a drunk skank, here's your poison. If you're not, here's your poison. If you're not into poison, here's your fucking poison. Take it!

The Corruption - Caligula Lo and behold, their latest mixtape. Heard it live myself Friday night as they opened for Zeds Dead. They fucking killed it. Check my shit. This is type of thing you play and think, "kill like nobody's watching."

First Of The Year - Skrillex BBC radio streamed this shit not too long ago. It's almost five minutes of "resampling goodness and crunk, growling bass coming in and out this guy, totally out of control," as Behind These Eyes would put it.

Houdini RAC Remix - Foster the People Wanted to end this post on a hazier note, less rage and more blurred out, like those bitches below. This is one of those 4 AM kind of drunk tracks you blast even though you don't need to, and probably shouldn't, but you still do 'cus don't want the night to end.

Stay street!
O.G.

Oh and get ready for the new site we're hitting you with in the next few days. Revampin' shit whatuppp.

SLEEP

It's already Hump Day, and that means for the next two nights, you'll need to go into hibernation to be able to survive the utter mayhem that will be ULTRA. Unless of course, you're planning to say "fuck it" to mortal standards, hit up Diplo tomorrow night with the SFP crew (fuck yes), and sleep on fuckin' Monday (fuck school, fuck work, but don't fuckin' overdose or go comatose on us this weekend, aight?). And don't worry, you'll be fine. Dyin's for fools.

Sabali (Miike Snow Remix) - Amadou & Mariam No words to describe this. Get it right now if you don't gots it already. It blows me away every time.

20 Flight (Dub) - Bosco Delrey Some of the most serene shit I've heard. They're male vocals but it feels more like he's some sort of adonis. Also, if you're into surrealism and Dali the King (face it, what smart stoner doesn't?), watch the video here. Chien Andalou, ftw!

Sleep (RAC Remix) - Thomas Tantrum So0o0o0o0o0o indieeee, bro. Some chick singing about... idk. Whatever it is chicks give a shit about. Beats me, I'm Ultra Queen

Whip My Hair - Today FM Ray D'Arcy - James Vincent McMorrow This is fucking brilliant. And James, you're fucking brilliant. +++

Candylane (Bibio Remix) - Gonjasufi Male vocals. Smooov electronic beats. Want somefin' more?

Cloudlight - Eskmo Trippy, dragged out vibes and smoovly drowned chimes. Close your eyes and take a trip. Check out the vid below, hoe!

Wait up, doe. Here's a lil somefin' from Mad Decent. SEE YOU AT DIPLO TOMORROW!

Much love from the east coast overdose,
Opt!mus G. (baby G foreva)
