SLEEP

A Real Hero (Follow Me Remix) - College feat Electric Youth So mellifluously refixed that it still reminds you of Drive-- of the sweet intertextuality between core-gore and honey soundscapes -- but sounds like a new track entirely. 'Cus it is. Follow Me is the real hero here.

Hit The Ground (King Krule Remix) - The Big Pink This isn't the Big Pink furnishing South Beach's best bacon cheeseburger at 5 AM, but it's just as good. Don't know King Krule? Die. Listen to Bleak Blake. Now.

In Your Nature (David Lynch Remix) - Zola Jesus Freaks will know this starts off like a hybrid of "So Glad" and "Noah's Ark" 18 seconds in, but that's just Crazy Clown- talk. The plus is that these vocals are debatably as sexy as those of Karen O(-face) in "Pinky's Dream."

Drugged Out Quest - Ssaliva Hazy alt. trip-hop from Belgium, to me, to you. Perfect for lethargic inertness. Cloudy with a chance of roofie, if you know what I mean.  IT WILL PUT YOU IN A TRANCE.

luv,

SLEEP

Fuck all y'aall

Kissin' Pink (feat. ASAP Ferg) (prod. Beautiful Lou) - ASAP Rocky Best track I've heard all week. Real talk. Belongs in the sleep, fuck, AND party categories. Download HERE.  +++

Cassettes - InkShips The first time I heard this jumped into a pile of powdered snow and thought to myself, "das wunderbar!" It's bubbly ambient pop laced laced with high pitched vocals to complement! WOO!

Good Love (Stay+ Remix) - Miracle A heavy and dark synthpop remix by one of my favorite bands, Stay+, who nobody's ever fucking heard of and about whom it's impossible to find any info on. So I'll just imagine they're from Antarctica and they just drop acid and dance around aurora borealis and host orgies.

Parentheses (PVT Remix) - The Antlers Brooklyn-based and indie swaggin' bawsses the Anlters have released this and are hitting us with their new EP soon, of which this is the opening track.

California Birds (ABADABAD Cover) - Keep Shelly in Athens Perfectly fucking ethereal. Basically the soundtrack of the axis mundi. Also, the music video (click) is awesome because it features an adorable little girl running around in a graveyard. Yethhhhir.

I Just Saw (Raleigh Moncrief Cover) - Baths A nice cover of a California-based "avant-popster." Raleigh Moncrief is also "California-based avant-popster." Wonderfully redundant and meta-something?! Yeah.

SLEEP

Sleep in the nude or you ain't shit.
VCR (The xx Cover) - The Antlers This shit cray. While the xx announced six days ago that they've started working on their second album, I give you this to help with the wait.

Amor Fati (Clams Casino Remix) - Washed Out That Within and Without shit you love, slowed down a few BPM, making for more soothing vocals. Spoon to this.

Kimmi in a Rice Field (Balam Acab Remix) - Twin Sister A remix to Twin Sister's debut LP, In Heaven. It's Experimental pop from Brooklyn that you dig more than ever because beatmaker Balam Acab drowned it.

Kimmi in a Rice Field (Glitter Bones Remix) - Twin Sister Glitter Bones? An unsigned duo from Chicago who describes their genre as fantasy and "the swinging sound of hoop earrings." Sounds accurate to me. Check it out for yo'self.

Keep Me There - Nicolas Jaar From our favorite American-Chilean musician. Did you know: he's currently studying comparative literature at Brown University. My guess is he blazes all day, makes music, and then pretends to read books when in actuality, he's ripping out the pages to use as rolling paper.

Time For Us - Nicolas Jaar This one has less of a tango sound to it and more of an indie bullshit sound. The male vocals are as hypnotic as it gets. Did we mention Jaar is the founder of his own record label? Yeah, that's Clown and Sunset, bitch.

Balance - Future Islands Pop from Baltimore, MD created by artists who claim to draw their influence from cloudy days and love.

Miranda (School Of Seven Bells Remix) - Surfer Blood Dreamy chimes infused with vaguely mechanical clanking and "demonic synths."

Here's the video for "Kimmi in a Rice Field." It's probably kind of creepy and I'm probably a freak so there's that.

Shleeeeeepin' it,

FUCK

Justice album came out a week ago and we Facebooked it, but if you STILL don't have it, listen HERE. And if you don't already like us on Facebook, do it now fuckfaces.
To your right!
Bang Bang (White Noise Remix) - Nancy Sinatra Posted this on the fb page a bit ago and everyone loved it and jizzed instantly so now i'm bringing it to all y'allzzes.

Katy On A Mission (Vinnie Maniscalco Edit) - Katy B Delicious female vocals and sex on sex on sex.

Equal Dreams (feat. Solange Knowles) (Eddie Mars Remix) - Rewards Some chill ass shit for sexy drunk sex.

I Stand Alone (Gigamesh Moonlight Remix) - Theophilus London I don't even know what category this is, but I have to go now, and I'm leaving it up to you. (I like to pretend your dick stands alone, so there's that.)

Professional Loving - Emika Starts off weird in the beginning, but it's the sexiest sex you've ever sexxxed. Emika is British and I love her.

'3 Hours' - From Mary Anne Hobbs Xfm show by emika

SLEEP

"When I die, bury me in smoke." -B.H.
Life On The Nickel (Mansions On The Moon Remix) - Foster the People Honestly as a band they're really not that cool but the music's alright and I'm sure you guys like 'em so fuck all y'all...If anything I'm doing this to show that they're not exxxactly a one-trick-pony kinda thing (though they kinda are).

A Real Hero - College feat. Electric Youth I hope you have this already because it's from Drive and we all (even the guys) have sex with Ryan Gosling two or three times on average, per day, per capita, every day-- in our minds. (I like to pretend when I'm a bored, desensitized zombie on the subway (notably, the L-train), but that's besides the point.)

Paradise Circus - Massive Attack vs Burial Super mega, super next level dismal UK shit laced with sexy female vocals to lull you into the most wet dreams. Think of her as an aural succubus you needn't work hard to imagine (the soundscape does it for you).

An Iceberg Hurled Northward Through Clouds (Peaking Lights Vocal Remix) - Gold Panda Total dream music Fader found "psychedelically loopy" and accompanied by "tiny hands clapping." It's exactly that, plus you'll feel like the chick in the picture.

5th Ave - Gold Panda He's British and awesome and better than you, so here's more from Gold Panda. Reminds me a bit of Tycho.

Batteries May Drain - Steve Hauschildt As per a press release, the title of the album this track comes from, Tragedy & Geometry (out Nov. 14), refers to "Melpomene (Muse of Tragedy) & Polyhymnia (Muse of Geometry), or more specifically the collision/overlap of what they invoke." And I know you were all dying to know that!

Suave - Behind These Eyes One of my homies composed this. It's like chill classy-ass jazz (what my group of friends can only describe as "black as hell shit") you can relax to, but then all of a sudden, there's this insidious reverberating inkling of some primordial dubstep sound that seems to have seeped through all the acoustic improvisation.

This is brilliant so please pay for it, fucker? The assortment is by LA cassette label MJMJ (Two Michael Jordans) so BUY ALL 17 TRACKS BY A MILLION DIFFERENT ARTISTS HERE (or just toke up and listen).

SLEEP

Mondays suck, so pop an Ambien and sleep it off with us.
Video Games (BALAM ACAB Remix) - Lana Del Rey Sleep.Fuck.Party  loves Balam Acab more than life itself, as we do Lana Del Rey. So for the two to coexist on one aural plane? Surreal. You're very welcome and I know you fucking love us.

Palace Chalice - Mux Mool This sounds just like Gold Panda, like his track MPB (click now) to be precise. It's too dope to be describe with words. The dude started in Brooklyn. His new name's etymology? Mux is short for 'multiplexing' (streaming varied data through a single channel), and Mool comes from "Chac-Mool," an ancient Meso-American statue of a reclining man. Phewf. That was for the nerds.

Seriously - Shlohmo I spend a large part of my life whispering "fuck yeah, Shlohmo" to myself. While that isn't remotely true, I wish it were and you just believe it. It's got his signature eclectic experimental hip-hop sound you've come to love. We force-feed you the dopeness until it's sweet, and it always is.

Elegy - Tycho Ambient, electro, downtempo: those are the genres Tycho has mastered while you sit on your ass popping the Ambien we just told you to take. Oops? Oops. Anyhow, Ghostly International's San Francisco-Based man has managed to convey his purity of spirit yet again in "Elegy."

There (Stumbleine Remix) - Sun Glitters Next-level chillwave that sounds like a more girly Balam Acab. Nice piano riffs, far-off female vocals, and pure, grade-A haziness with a touch of R&B reworking. Nod your head in slow motion to this 'til you pass the fuck out!

xx,
amadZ!

SLEEP

This is my favorite sleep post I've ever done. Just sayin'. +++
Money (Beat Connection Remix) - The Drums My favorite song at the moment. What do you get when four rad dudes from Brooklyn come together in 2006 to form an indie-pop group? The Drums. You've probably heard their track, "Best Friend." I first heard it because my best friend dedicated it to me since the lyrics go like this: "you were my best friend, and then you died." ...Fucking bitch.

Against The Bottom - Grieves Because sometimes... white guys rapping sounds pretty good. Now based in Seattle, this dude from Chicago has performed at the Vans Warped Tour among others. He has his roots in jazz/blues but stays fresh by coalescing them with punk and hip-hop elements so you can chill out while he stays street.

Brothers  - Jon Zott This is straight brilliance. He's from Detroit, he's based in Brooklyn, and his influence is high fructose corn syrup. What a guy, right? This track is a bunch of eargasmic sounds tossed in an ancient ceramic bowl and shaken by Zeus and the rest of 'em gods. Do it to it.

Bee Nose - Pink Skull I don't know about you but I instantly feel like the coolest person in the room when I jam to this. What the fuck is being humble about? (Yeah, that's a Domo Genesis quote.) It's like house music and electronic hip-hop and a ton of other shit you can't put your finger on. I always assumed Pink Skull was European but nah, they're from Philly.

Sun Fran To Tokyo - King Most I feel like this is from another era. But it's not-- but it should be. It's just pretty. I mean, I still think it's aesthetically pleasing because I've convinced myself I can see the notes. Speaking of LSD (implicitly), I was reading this book which you should buy, and there's a section in there about a guy who was on acid for a whole year and it's totally worth the money.

The Surf - Lotus Behold, a carefully crafted array of instrumentals, soothing male vocals, and even more soothing guitar chords. Yeah whatever just get high and fall asleep to this.

Far Nearer (Snatch & Swindler Bootleg) - Jamie XX This is from our Dropbox. It's a nice twist on Jamie XX. The dude's from Sydney, Australia; check out his Soundcloud.

Solitude Is Bliss (Time & Space Machine Remix) - Tame Impala This obviously sounds a lot like "Lucidity" by the same psychedelic rock band, but the remix especially makes all the difference. I like the vocals 'cus they sound like The Beatles, and instantly conjure the long-imagined visual the girl with kaleidoscope eyes, and of cellophane flowers of yellow and green, towering over my head as I fall into golden slumbers.

Re-post: Hours - Tycho I posted this like 10 days ago but if you didn't get it the first time, get to it, son.

And from our DROPBOX, here's a track by an 18 year-old from Melbourne, Australia just starting out producing music. Check out his Soundcloud.

SLEEP

Aw shit, why'd you assholes take a picture of me in my sleep? That's fucking creepy dooood.

I haven't heard something so phantasmagorically crafted in a while. This is what the artist has to say about it: "I wrote this in the space of a day, it's about a girl, the first half I wrote this morning before I met up with her, I didn't know what ot call the track, all I knew was that it was about her. After seeing her tonight, I got home, and I knew what to call it, and put together the second half." This dude's buzZz-worthy. Check out more of him on his SoundCloud.

White Chapel (Single Version) - S. C. U. M. Pitchfork's calling it "incandescent." True-- but it's also translucent, ethereal (emphasis on real), and a sweet piece of aural delicatessen. S.C.U.M.'s a psychedelic/punk/visual ensemble from London I've really been diggin' this year, and my fondness shows no premature signs of decline. And if you super-dig it, check out the remix by Brooklyn "dark-wave duo" Light Asylum.

Breeze - Apollo Sunshine Old as fuck (as in 2009). But the thing is, the other day I got high in my non-existent tree house I often lucid dream inside and started listening to it, and thought about all the poor bloated kids in Africa who don't have this song. Oh, and you guys.

Beautician 2.0 - Dillon Francis So a few months ago, Dillon Francis put out a track called Beautician (click here) which is not appropriate for sleeping at all--unless of course you're a demented sociopath (oh wait, that's me)-- so I'm happy to share the release of Beautician 2.0, featuring moombahton and a much smoother feel, more apt for doing what that girl with them nice titties up there is doing.

You Are All I See - Active Child Oh look, it's synth pop. With male vocals. Bonus: there's some harp in there (well, lot's of it). A very sweet tune to doze off to, or hey, you might even wanna eat gay bacon to this.

Also, from our photography DROPBOX:
Big ups to Dustin Clarke from Australia for his new SFP tattoo (see headphones). +++
Got some SFP-infused shit to show off?
Send it over: sleepfckparty@gmail.com (no "u").

SLEEP

And I'm back too, bitches. You missed me?
Yeah. You fucking did.
All There Is (Feat. Steffaloo) - Chrome Sparks Real nice, real smooth choppy vocals. Smooth and choppy at the same time? Yeah. Fuck you if you don't think that's possible. Oh and Chrome Sparks? Dude's a student at U Michigan Ann Arbor (name, Jeremy Mavin). Precociousness status.

And if you dig that, here's a bigger taste of him:
Doubt, No - Chrome Sparks

<3 & Soul - Chrome Sparks

Hours - Tycho So surreal, soft, and dreamy. More like Tych-oh! He's got a new album, Dive, coming out Nov. 15th and behold, the first single released: Hours. Lick a rainbow to this.

Adrift (Shigeto's Adrift A Dream Remix) - Tycho I like that Tycho's signed to Ghostly International. It's oh-so-apropos. 'Cus this shit is --in effect-- the soundscape of nice spectres. Hear for yourself.

Jerome (Acoustic Session) - Lykke Li New Lykke Li. Honestly, it will put you to sleep. But that's what you're reading this for, right? Chick's got a cloudy, delicious voice that I can confidently say is comprised of the same stuff as the aether.

Little Bit (Gigamesh Remix) - Lykke Li And now, a throwback for all of you who can un-douchebageddly say, "I like me some Lykke Li." This is honestly one of my favorite songs. Straight from the soulless cavity behind my D-cup chest to you. +++

SLEEP

Pumped Up Kicks (RLYNX Remix) - Foster the People Not too new but you should have it. Seriously, if you don't have this, I'll... I'll... I'll... fuck it, I don't know. Oh yeah, I'll blow up your iTunes.

Now That I'm Real (Trophy Wife Remix) - Chad Valley Kind of tropical, kind of disco, and very chillwave. Just stop reading and relax to this for a second.

Breathe (Vocal Mix) - Cillo A soft chillstep track from the same producer who remixed Bon Iver's 'Calgary.' These female vocals really put you into a trance.

Eyes Be Closed - Washed Out Behold, two tracks from Washed Out's new album, Within and Without, which came out this very month. It's basically synthpop with ethereal male vocals that lull you into a deep, bleep trance.

Amor Fati - Washed Out Total chillwave. Plus, the title epitomizes the essence and spirit of our sleep posts. A Latin phrase meaning "love of fate," amor fati describes an attitude of blissful passiveness in which one perceives everything happening in one's life, even suffering and loss, and takes it as good. What's even weirder: I did a little extra searching, and found that in Polynesian mythology, Fati is the god of the Moon! If this isn't the ultimate sleep track, I don't fucking know what is.

SLEEP

We're mad close to 600 fans. It's my birthday week, you owe it to me. Spread the word, yo.
xx, Opt!mus

What's Going On (NiT GriT Remix) - Marvin Gaye Oh hey, it's Marvin Gaye on here yet again. You might not wanna fall asleep while you sit on the dock of the bay (unless you're into dying), but take a fucking listen. This time, you owe it to yourself. +++

Scottie Pippen (feat. Freddie Gibbs) - Curren$y You know who he is. You know what to expect. The instrumentals are vondaful. Also, Curren$y is playing at Grand Central Miami June 16th. Check it.

Mother Of Pearl - Silver Swans Woah! Silver Swans are growing on me. Just kidding; they're not. I just like this one song a lot. Also good for when you wake and bake, just 'cus it's summer, and you fuckin' can.

Thor's Hammer (feat. Raekwon & Vordul Mega) - Vast Aire Here's a little more rap. It's kinda ghetto, but then the little voice repeating "sunshine" in the background makes you think... "hey, thats kinda cute." You decide.

Over (Radio Edit)  - GusGus This sounds kind of oldschool electronica (kinda). Especially the vocals. You can dance to it, you can fall asleep to it; it doesn't matter. Just know this: it'll move you--inside & out.
