PARTY

Looking for new writers!
e-mail me what type of music you're interesting in contributing/how often you can do it and a little info on yourself : amadz@SleepFuckParty.com

xx, Bacci and amadZ

Right Here With Me - Expo Relaxing pop laced with charming male vocals and fragile synths that make you wanna get drunk with your friends and hold hands and be cheesy and fuck each other.

Golden Age (JUSTICE Remix) - The Asteroids Galaxy Tour Good thing the NYC Asteroids Galaxy Oct. 4th show sold out (cuts wrists). Basically, Justice took the Danish pop band's shit and added in their signature funky guitar while retaining Mette Lindberg's craycray vocals. And she's probably pretty hot (<<< aka click that duhhh).

Syndicate - Skrillex New track by Skrilly which he created for the soundtrack of a video game he has been commissioned to compose (kind of like Mozart). The video game, titled Syndicate as well, will be released by EA on November 1st.

Syndicate (PockX Edit) - Skrillex And a nice remix. And by "nice" I mean you now have brain damage. You're welcome, always.

Pumped Up Kicks (Skeet Skeet Remix) - Foster the People The best remix of Pumped Up Kicks out there, to finalize your collection. And with that, we're done with this song. Thank you, BasedGod.

Brand New Bitch (Laidback Luke Remix) - Anjulie  Sexy female vocals slightly reminiscent of that 90s techno we used to listen to. Even if you were seven years old, you definitely heard it driving around South Beach, half asleep and being a little bitch. Shit's back and it's oh-so-cyclical.

Without You (R3hab's XS Remix) - David Guetta ft. Usher We like R3hab and that's pretty much it. Other than that, haven't heart anything but Usher in a while. Dope contrast between sweet lyrics and banger  pulsations though. Download HERE.

SLEEP

Feel It All Around - Washed Out We've posted Amor Fati and Eyes Be Closed before, and now, a third track by Washed Out. American chill wave for the rest of us. Ca-ching!

Weekend - Class Actress Some of the best Brooklyn synth pop infused with the Actress' delicious vocals. Shit's seductive and snooze-inducing all at the same time. Bring it on the weekend.

Romantic Streams (Balam Acab Remix) - SLEEP ∞ OVER A loose tune for loose people. Very dreamy and hazy. Every time Balam Acab releases something new, my ass does a little dance behind my back. Literally.

Midnight City (Trentemøller Remix) Remix) - M83 Part of an EP M83 will have released by the end of the month, comprised entirely of Midnight City remixes. Begins quite amazingly with reverberating guitar chords. Almost too much quality to handle. This one's pretty sinister-- and that's how I like it.

Fire Dream - Patten Drunken drums and inaudible vocals. Terrible sound quality, yet it gets five-thousand and 58748354798 experimental rad points from me.  +++

SLEEP

Aw shit, why'd you assholes take a picture of me in my sleep? That's fucking creepy dooood.

I haven't heard something so phantasmagorically crafted in a while. This is what the artist has to say about it: "I wrote this in the space of a day, it's about a girl, the first half I wrote this morning before I met up with her, I didn't know what ot call the track, all I knew was that it was about her. After seeing her tonight, I got home, and I knew what to call it, and put together the second half." This dude's buzZz-worthy. Check out more of him on his SoundCloud.

White Chapel (Single Version) - S. C. U. M. Pitchfork's calling it "incandescent." True-- but it's also translucent, ethereal (emphasis on real), and a sweet piece of aural delicatessen. S.C.U.M.'s a psychedelic/punk/visual ensemble from London I've really been diggin' this year, and my fondness shows no premature signs of decline. And if you super-dig it, check out the remix by Brooklyn "dark-wave duo" Light Asylum.

Breeze - Apollo Sunshine Old as fuck (as in 2009). But the thing is, the other day I got high in my non-existent tree house I often lucid dream inside and started listening to it, and thought about all the poor bloated kids in Africa who don't have this song. Oh, and you guys.

Beautician 2.0 - Dillon Francis So a few months ago, Dillon Francis put out a track called Beautician (click here) which is not appropriate for sleeping at all--unless of course you're a demented sociopath (oh wait, that's me)-- so I'm happy to share the release of Beautician 2.0, featuring moombahton and a much smoother feel, more apt for doing what that girl with them nice titties up there is doing.

You Are All I See - Active Child Oh look, it's synth pop. With male vocals. Bonus: there's some harp in there (well, lot's of it). A very sweet tune to doze off to, or hey, you might even wanna eat gay bacon to this.

Also, from our photography DROPBOX:
Big ups to Dustin Clarke from Australia for his new SFP tattoo (see headphones). +++
Got some SFP-infused shit to show off?
Send it over: sleepfckparty@gmail.com (no "u").

SLEEP

It's summer and i'll fall asleep on a slab of rock wearing what looks like a worn out and shrunken Goth-Santa coat if I want to! Fuck you, man!

Midnight City - M83 This track by an electronic/dream pop act from France (named after spiral galaxy Messier 83) has the coolest sounding hook I've heard in a while. Your ears go all, "what the fuck?," and then boom, you've been dragged in. Interestingly enough, it ends with a saxophone solo. Guess you're not the only one, Lady Caca!

Lotus Flower (Jacques Greene RMX) -Radiohead This is shleepy, alright. You already love Radioheard, so it's convenient when some fucking asshole comes in and remixes the shit out of 'em and makes it okay to listen to an album already a few months old. Just kidding. We like those assholes. They make life bearable.

Legendary Weapons (feat. Ghostface Killah, AZ & M.O.P.) - Wu-Tang Clan Accompanied by AZ, the great MC, Ghostface Killah is actually the only Wu-Tang member featured on this track. You bet your ass this is the one and only time you'll ever consider Wu-Tang something suitable to slip into REM sleep to. Hint: blaze with this.

Country Roads (Pretty Lights Remix) - John Denver So you see the name John Denver and ask yourself what the fuck my problem is, but then you realize Pretty Lights got their hands on this and resume the fetal position, realizing I am your mother and you need me to survive. You're welcome. It's dubstep (not really... it's chillstep) you can daydream and regular dream to. So go back to bed you fucking baby.

Careless Teens - The Bilinda Butchers Hey, have some nostalgia pop from San Francisco. The duo says their sound is imbued with tones of "romantic uncertainty and sorrow." That's true. But I also know for a fact that, apropos, you're probably a careless teen yourself and that this will be in your iTunes in 30 seconds. Ready, set, hoe.

Silly Thoughts (Balam Acab remix) - Mathieu Santos You guessed it first: isn't Mathieu Santos the bassist for Ra Ra Riot? Well, that's exactly who he is, but you definitely didn't know that. Behold, his solo project. Guess he got tired of lurking around aimlessly in the background? Or of getting laid so much painfully less frequently than Wes and Milo? Probably, considering most girls still pronounce "bass" like the fucking fish.

Okay, James Franco. We get it. You think you can do everything. But can you, really? (Note: he's teaching a class at NYU for graduate film students. He makes them compile/edit a film using footage of... James Franco. It's literally a class taught by James Franco... about James Franco. Just kidding that's a rumor. It's about some poet.) Actor, writer, academic, and now... musician? But who am I to say if it's good or not? It's not like I run a website or anything...! Fuck it. You guys decide.

SLEEP

Starry Eyed (Penguin Prison Remix ft. Theophilus London) - Ellie Goulding My favorite remix to this track of them all. It's very chill thanks to the soothing rap vocals of TL, who sounds all-too-much like KiD CuDi, but still stands out in his own merit.

You Always Start It - XXXY From a Manchester-based producer, to your bed. Impeccable, multi-layered melodies for everyone, whether you've got the X, or Y chromosome; we don't discriminate.

Stay Positive - Christian AIDS If i didn't know any better (and if these vocals weren't so blatantly not-Alice-Glass') I'd swear this was by Crystal Castles. I'm a little obsessed with Christian AIDS and Purity Ring. No, your speakers aren't broken, it's just their magic at work. The first is as insidious as AIDS (but it won't kill you; promise) and the latter is as pure as it is deep and lo-fi. Here's some more if you liked that: Summon The Sound (Christian AIDS Remix) - S.C.U.M. And another: Paperweight - Christian AIDS vs Murkage. Oh, hey, last one: Ungirthed (Christian AIDS Remix) - Purity Ring

Grow (Taragana Pyjarama Remix) - Delorean Remix to a synth-pop act from Barcelona by a Denmark producer. Can it get more international than that? Probably not. It's lovely.

The Day (Yeasayer Remix) - Moby These Brooklyn experimentalists took the plunge to remix one of the king's originals. They've added their signature electro bass, synths, and that vibe you've just got to say "yea" to.

Far Nearer - Jamie xx Active since 2005, Jamie xx joined The xx in 2007 and you know him ever since. He's just as good as a solo artist. More: Beat For - Jamie xx

SLEEP

I'll start us off with this gorgeous piece of work.

Dystopia - YACHT This came out near the end of March, but YACHT has released a new single with a more disco-funk sound called Utopia - YACHT, in anticipation of their next album coming out June 21, Shangri-La. It was impossible to find a downloadable version online so I just bought it on iTunes and uploaded for you guys, just 'cus I know you love us. Bonus: Utopia (Jerusalem Remix) - YACHT. Love me!

Tornado (Fuck Buttons Remix) - Jónsi The original contains nice violin strings and soft piano chords alongside Jónsi's "tender" vocals, but Fuck Buttons has brought synths and quick electro riffs to the table, or in our case, bed. Check out his soundcloud here.

These Nights (ft. OhJuicy) - Sweaters Funny, girly lyrics that lend themselves to those nights when you stumble home before sunrise and slip into bed with your iPod on full blast. Yeah, I do that too. What an anthem.

Zzafrika (Julio Bashmore Remix) - ZZT No vocals. A visceral experience that makes you feel like you're lying in the middle of an electric zoo. It starts raining, but you don't mind, 'cus you feel just right.

Star Fire Power - Gardens & Villa Disco beats, bass, and synths by musicians with original pop sensibilities.

Have you seen - DJIDIOT Sent to us on our Soundcloud DROPBOX. The artist claims to be a 19-year-old Norwegian dude living in Paris. It's beautiful.

And all the way from Colombia, Nicolás Saavedra has submitted the track below to our DROPBOX as well. Check out the rest of his stuff on his Soundcloud. It's definitely talent. +++

SLEEP

After being aurally destroyed by Zeds Dead last night, OG needed some sleeping tunes, and this was her poison:

Solveig stikes back after his worldwide hit, "Hello."
Martin Solveig feat Kele - Ready 2 Go (Hardwell Remix) by HARDWELL

Young Luv - Christian AIDS Christian AIDS is a practically anonymous duo from Manchester, droppin' the sort of tracks that make you wish it were 5am and you weren't sober. Synths, blurred vocals, and what sounds like gold-coated triangle chimes get you offfff, son.

Polyhurt and Slow Peels by Com Truise. Tom Cruise is literally a bedroom producer, crafting his EP from his home on a cluster of analogue equipment that he's been working with for over ten years. Sounds like an 80's flick soundtrack. It's a win.

Locomotive (Beach Fossils Remix) - Alex Winston Bitch from Motown who plays a million instruments like a damn boss. Don't question it.

SLEEP

We Don't Eat (Adventure Club Dubstep Remix) - James Vincent McMorrow One of the greatest chillstep songs I've heard. Nice lyrics, male vocals, and an air of youthfulness that will never expire.

Temptations - Gorilla Warfare Tactics NYC based hip-hop trio GWT has release this as its very first song. It's laid back but impressive, rhyming fluidly as you are laid down to sleep.

Lofticries - Purity Ring Daring. Synths everywhere, and it's all constantly moving toward a crescendo. Mix that in with the ethereal vocals (sort of ghostly), and you've got a rather special mixture.

Blacks - Dawn Golden & Rosy Cross Influenced by everything from doomed metal bands to avant noise artists, DG & RC pounds with a calm urgency. Mixing manipulated live instruments, dusty drum machines, and broken synthesizers with textured vocals, this track offers everything you need for a good tripp. Enjoy.

And some more Purity Ring 'cus it's just that good, sonnnnn.
