SLEEP

Twice (Kyson Bootleg) - Little Dragon Fucking love the sound of Yukimi Nagano's voice. Perfect for faded lullabies.

To The Ends Of The Earth - Blue Sky Black Death Not gonna lie, if you close your eyes and feel this one, you might cry.

He Is Watching You (Original Mix) - Solomun Really reminds me of what would be a fast-paced version of Trentemøller's Midnight City remix.

Rained the Whole Time (Nicolas Jaar Remix) - Shlohmo Smokey as hell, with occasional funky vocals.

Space Is Only Noise If You Can See - Nicolas Jaar Minimal beauty punctuated by silence and lingering reverberation. I ruv him too much.

And now for some goodies from the dropbox:

SLEEP

Feeling too tired to write anything remotely intelligent. Next time...
Murder - Albatross An act from Sydney. Absolutely beautiful, yo. Too many instruments to count, laced with adorable little vocals you could argue are just noises. Makes you wanna trip on a cloud.

Floating In Blue - Young Prisms San Francisco shit that makes you feel like you're suspended in air, hanging by a thread with 34895374 mph winds messing up your hair as you... fall asleep? Yuh.

Flying Into Tokyo - Magnetic Man Best song ever. Listen while you take a magical carpet ride into the absinthe abyss by your lonesome. Sounds like violin in there.

I Got a Woman - Nicolas Jaar A friend was playing this last night and I realized I've never posted it here, nor the next two tracks. Ridiculously relaxing.  Piano, guitar, vocals, plus occasional electro notes.

Into The Night (Nicolas Jaar Remix) - Azari & III Makes me wanna drift in a really fast car all over Miami but also makes me want to blaze and sleep. Duality, bitches.

Colomb - Nicolas Jaar Very soft and sweet; romantic, probably. Punctuated more by silence than actual notes, like all of his work. Genius. Oh and fantastic French lyrics. A+ if you can understand.

SLEEP

If you've never passed out naked and drunk in the bathtub,
you're doing this whole 'life' thing wrong.

City Light - Nujabes feat. Substantial & Pase Rock If you don't know Nujabes, read this because we ain't got no time for yo' shit. Japanese hip-hop sounds strange, but it ain't no freaky K-Pop. He died last February, but three days ago, Hydeout Productions dropped a 14-track final album of his unreleased work, Spiritual State. (Buy it here 'cus it won't be in iTunes for a bit.) ALSO: Catch a soundtrack he composed by Netflixing the anime series Sumarai Champloo. It's dope and not the type of anime that Japanese-obsessed white girl in your high school nobody would talk to would watch while getting her fingers sticky, if you know what I mean..

Couch (Soosh Remix) - Shlohmo Shlohmo posted this on his page, commenting, "this is so beautiful." So there you have it, bitches-- vindication from the lovely Jewish white boy himself. +

Seven Stars (ft. Victoria Legrand) - Air Ever since Playground Love, I've been in love with Air. We're all excited for their upcoming album, Le Voyage Dans La Lune (That's A Trip to the Moon, for you all you uncultured fucks), so check out dis track from it that gracefully features vocals from Beach House's Victoria Legend.

W.O.W (Nicolas Jaar Remix) - Architecture in Helsinki Repetitive like a mantra in the beginning, then gets a lil' freaky, but you like it 'cus its the same Australian indie pop band you jammed the fuck out to before puberty, plus your new fave, Nicolas Jaar, who, by the way, I heard killed it at the Electric Pickle in Miami over Thxsgivin' break.

Everlasting Light (Alex Winston Cover) - The Black Keys A sweet folk-rock spin on the original. Having a vagina myself, I find the vocals in the original sexier but decide for yourself.

Shleeeep it offffff,

SLEEP

da moment i wake up i wanna get hiiiigh

Canon (Pyramid Remix) - Justice A chill take on the original from a young French producer. Shit, I could blaze or sleep to this. No canonical shit round here.

Why - Alpines and Maya Jane Coles Alpines, from South London, and producer Maya Jane Coles have collaborated for a darker take on the original. A brilliant update.

Nikels and Dimes - Gonjasufi The humble version of stacks on stacks on stacks? Probably. Shit's lo-fi broken-speakerish as fuck. Psychedellickit.

Don't Break My Love - Nicolas Jaar All over the place, incohesive, just like your brain or any good rhapsody. This is probably genius and if you don't get it it's 'cus you're not.

El Diablo - Applescal A free EP from a rad Dutch producer. Dope ass male and female vocals. If the devil is a sexy black man who seduces women and condemns them to an eternity in a killer love shack, then this title is totally appropriate.
