SLEEP

This is nice. Thanks, Botero.

Caladan - Grimes Oldish yet totally relevant since the Montreal-based project is currently rising to prominence. Delicious vocals and a hook I know is from another song but I can't fucking remember which one!! Fuck.

Era of Wind - Some Ember Weird, dark, twisted-- perfectly conducive for a fucked up dream. No shrooms required. Just a pillow and some Beats (Bose > Beats, doe).

Sunsets (Knxwledge Remix - Polographia Sexy and shleepy. Love what sounds like a black dude grunting dope nothings. They're a "chill"-type duo from Sydney and I like that they almost sound like "Pornographia."

Loops Of Your Hear - Cries Sure, it's boring--on the surface-- but that's exactly why I like it. This brilliant and meditative track knocks me out like a double dose of Dramamine. You're welcome.

I now present Madeaux. Check out the full oeuvre on Soundcloud.

This one's my personal favorite:

PARTY

Hey guys, Walkin' Fish here again, bringing you a brand new Party post, this one should be mad dope, theres quite a few brand new bangers coming out this time of the year and I'm very excited to show you the right tunes to be getting loose to right now.

Toulouse (Original Mix) - Nicky Romero Firstly we have a pretty massive tune from Nicky Romero, a big roaring drop with lots of attack, it sounds pretty ravey, but I rate it pretty high, it goes pretty hard, just like you should be.

Californication (Promise Land Bootleg) - Red Hot Chili Peppers This big bouncy motherfucker is a remix of Californication by RHCP by Promise Land, digging it right now as that drop just comes from no where and the build to it is mental as well, loving this tune.

Breakin' A Sweat (Zedd Remix) - Skrillex Ft. The Doors Naturally after his grammy, Skrillex's popularity went nuts, and he's got songs sitting in all the high places of iTunes, but you cant go past this remix of Breakin A Sweat. I didn't really like original one, but this one goes off chops and sends you to all kinds of crazy places, the drop is classic Zedd, delivering that dirty, dirty, crunchy synth that slays the dance floor.

Who Is Ready To Jump (Dada Life Remix) - Chuckie Next up a hefty-ass tune from Chuckie and remixed by Dada Life. Now, I didn't rate the original too high, but holy shit, this remix sends this song off the richter, if you cant get loose to this insane drop then theres something wrong with you.

One Click Headshot - Feed Me This song deserves a special mention, if any of you have seen the counterstrike guy on youtube, then you'll have a reference attained on this sample by Feed Me. He just released a new album and this song is part of it, its an absolute ripper, a massive bouncy freakshow of sounds and little samples which really give the song its energy.

Wild One Two (feat. David Guetta, Nicky Romero & Sia - Jack Back A brand new take on 'Wild one' by Sia, by Jack Back, its more big room and synth-y and I reckon its going to do pretty well, It's making its way up Beatport pretty fast and it should hold a strong position, also, I hate Flo Rida.

Magic Fountain (Kissy Sell Out's Dark Crystal Version) - Art Vs. Science And now for something a little older, I might throw in a classic song by Art vs. Science. Its a great song, but let's face it, this remix is much better and and is a surefire way of getting people moving.

Thats it for now

Kindred - Burial Burial's brand spankin' new Kindred EP was hard to find,  but we got it for your rippin' purposes. 'Cus that's us. If you're stoned, fullscreen the video. (Note: rename it in your library yo'self.

Loner  - Burial For those week nights when you find yourself a loner, so you just blaze and pass out on your own. It happens.

FUCK

She gotchu by the balls.

Rack City (Taz Buckfaster Remix) - Tyga If you fuck, you probably live in a rack city. Oh and I hope you seen the official video.

Lemonade (Gesaffelstein Remix) [Rip] - Boys Noize & Erol Alkan Gesaff makes everything eerie, acidic, and goth-rave worthy. Godammit, you gotta love the French.

Inhaler (Worthy's West Coast Bass Remix) - Jaymo & Andy George I am totally and completely addicted to this style. Worthy's from San Francisco, and you can tell.

Johnny Belinda (White Arrows Remix) - Active Child Quality shit with nice vocals and sweet electro riffs. Frenetic and warped-- like your heart.

Better Off Alone (Alec Empire/Atari Teenage Riot Remix) - Salem For pentagram-familiar couples only, you fucking pussy.

PARTY

Champagne showers, anyone?

Fantastic [Nocturnal] - Big Gigantic It's got jazz. It's got funk and soul. And yes, it's got enough of that crunchy edgy dubby bass to melt the smile right off your face. Straight off Big Gigantic's latest album Nocturnal, Fantastic is just that; fucking fantastic, fresh and funky beats for those who want to branch out of the mainstream scene of the moment and enjoy some new vibes. Feel this wobble sink into your ears, rattle your brain and set you reeling.

There and Back - Wolfgang Gartner Wolfgang, you can do no wrong. Yet another electronic banger from one of the kings of electro house. Sure to set dance floors on fire, plus he rips that catchy synth sound we all know and love like no other. Couldn't help myself; I've had this on repeat for the past week.

Ladi Dadi (Tommy Trash Remix) - Steve Aoki & Wynter Gordon Wynter Gordon's back at it again, teaming up with Steve Aoki in a sweet and sexy release rendered juuust dirty enough by the one and only Tommy Trash. "And we don't need nobody, let's have a little party, just us two. And we don't need nobody, cause we go ladi dadi, just us two. Me and you..." Love.

Glad You Came (HLM Remix) - The Wanted My current obsession: HLM just takes this song to the next level with upbeat, beeeautiful lyrics and shweetly synthy electro drops. Mm hmm.

Alive (Extended Mix) - Adrian Lux feat The Good Natured Feel good shiiett from Adrian Lux. Had to throw the extended mix in here, cause it's just that much better. Eat it up bitches.

I Had Some Fun (Swedish House Mafia Mix) - Alesso feat Rebecca & Fiona Can I just say how much I fucking love Rebecca & Fiona? Not only are these girls drop dead gorgeous, but their voices blend in complete melodic harmony with any and every big house name they've collaborated with. Of course Alesso and SHM are no exception.

In My Mind (Axwell Remix) - Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl feat Georgi Kay Unassumingly beautiful female vocals from indie pop singer/songwriter Georgi Kay (she's only 19. Dig it) mixed in with epic progressive house from Axwell... what's not to like?

Body Work (Lazy Rich Remix) - Morgan Page feat Tegan & Sara Tegan & Sara, Lazy Rich, and Morgan Page are all music trailblazers in their own right, and all together in this mindblowing mix? Um, yes please.

Divine Danger Remix (Zeds Dead ReRemix) - Sebastian Tellier That's riiight, it's a reremix. Entering a chill zone here, aka the best way to end a crazy night. Light one up, lay back and pass the f@*k out. Night fuckers.

Annnndd I'm out.
Sending good vibes from San Fran,
Kimmy

SLEEP

Let us know how you like us hosting on Soundowl. Click the arrow to download (duh).

Humble Bones (Giraffage Remix) - Labyrinth Ear A San Fran remix of a London original. One of the best sleep tracks I've ever posted. You fade in and out of consciousness until you've been swallowed into the fourth dimension, and by then it's too late. Disclaimer: the vocals will actually change your life.

Take Notice - Faws Dublin's Faws feature some jazzy keyboards, percussions, and grade-A funk for sampling on this one. Shlohmo fans will doubtless dig.

Huron River Drive - Shigeto He's Japanese-American, Studied in NYC and London, and was raised on jazz and Motown. For this reason I think he and Nujabes would be kindred spirits. (Oh yeah this is the part where you overdose on Nujabes. R.I.P.).

Scary Dennis - Gap Dream Lo-fi rock you can blaze and pass out to. You'll feel like there's a giant hole in the middle of your gap dream but you're too lazy to even try to evoke REM. Dude, fuck you.

FUCK

Oh, Uncle Terry. Always the class act.

First off, set a mood:

It's My Part (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Remix) – Jonquil A tastefully minimalist remix by the only thing progressive about the Jurassic era. TEED takes the offensive on some tasty Brit-on-Brit action by slowing down (and almost drowning) lead Hugo Manuel’s vocals, freeing it of its ordered guitar riffs, and making it, say, something much more appealing to an improvised scatter brain. For best results, pour in libation.

Olivia (MAO Remix) – Maribou State Mao infuses “Olivia” with more percussion (e.g. clapping), sinister stomps, and a darker, yet more soulful tone to the former buoyancy implicit in its xylophone synths. The cadence is attractive and smartly clad, like the girl  standing at the bar, and the vocal loops, chopped up enough so that when you’re sloppily singing along— your rendition is actually spot on.

The Look (TIP's Shook Shook Rework) – Metronomy Its sound is experimentally reworked, its vocals, often warped, and its look, eclectically shaken up, but all the while still kept in check by a loyal metronome, and a sense of aural decorum. London ‘lovestep’ producer Two Inch Punch succeeds in giving the track an electric shock and making it that much more danceable.

And theeeeeen, as the night progresses, you bring in the crazy shit--

Strange Behavior (Caveat Remix) - Feed Me Seeeeexyyyyyy. Your old favorite song brought back to life by Caveat. Shit's sexy as fuck and goes HAM. Get preggers to this.

Drippin' [Prod. By Flight Facilities, Adventure Club & FKi] - FKi Remember Adventure Club's remix of Crave You? That was my favorite song forever. Here's a trapstep refix from a Mad Decent produced FKi Mixtape. Gold.

Bambi - Azealia Banks "So, where you from? Oh yeah? So, do you speak any French? Mhm. Where am I from? I'm from New York (New York) (New York) (New York). SO-- What's your sign? Oh, you're an Aquarius? You act like an Aquarius. What's so f*cking funny!?"
